Before First Use
Each new V-Series chalk is coated with a protective moisture-resistant layer to help maintain its condition during storage and shipping.
During the first few applications, the chalk may feel slightly less smooth than usual. Simply rub the chalk firmly against your cue tip a few times to wear through the protective coating. After a few applications, the chalk will apply smoothly and normally.
This is normal and does not affect the performance of the chalk.
